Peach Strawberry Cheese Mold Salad

Ingredients :


1 cup water
2 envelopes strawberry flavored gelatin
1 small can peach slice (drain)
1 1/2 cups curd cream style cottage cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise type dressing
1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
2 cups lettuce
1/4 cup fresh strawberries cut in half
1/2 cup frozen or fresh strawberies cut in quarters
2 tablespoon slivered almonds

Cooking Method :

Place one cup ot water and 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries in a medium size saucepan. Bring it to boil, add 2 envelopes of strawberry flavored gelatin, keep stirring until gelatin mixture is dissolve.

Remove from the stove and add water to your strawberry gelatin puree to make 4 cups. In a 6 1/2 cup ring mold, pour half of your strawberry gelatin mixture into it. Chill until mixture is firm. Leave the other half to a room temperature.

Heat 1/2 cup water and pour in 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin, stir until mixture is dissolve. In a bowl, mix together 1 1/2 cup cottage cheese, mayonnaise dressing, softened 1/2 cup gelatin, stir it well.

Pour over your chesse mixture to gelatin strawberry the first layer that was chilled awhile ago. Chill again until 2 layers are firm. Then, pour the 3rd layer which was the reserved strawberry gelatin mixture over the cheese layer, chill again until firm.

After three layers are chilled and firm. Place it in a serving platter with lettuce and strawberry decoration on its base. Arrange peach slices all around the ring on top of your strawberry gelatin layer. Alternating it with half cut fresh strawberry. Finish your presentation by sprinkling some slivered almonds all over these mold salad. Refrigerate, this recipe serves 8 people.
