Heath Toffee Bars Recipe
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup heath toffee bits 1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES.
1. Melt butter in saucepan until nut brown color.
2. Take off heat and stir in brown sugar and vanilla.
3. When that is mixed, stir in flour and mix well.
4. Add 1/2 cup heath toffee bits and mix.
5. Press mixture into bottom of ungreased 8" square pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
6. While still hot, top with chocolate chips. After melted, spread the chocolate over the top.
7. Sprinkle with remaining heath toffee bits.
8. Cool for five minutes only and cut into serving pieces with a sharp knife (if you wait too long, it will become too hard to cut).
Cool thoroughly before removing from pan.
