Chocolate Dipped Apples - Free Christmas Recipe

Great Free Christmas Recipe!
4 large red delicious apples, washed and dry
4 sucker sticks 1 pound caramel candies
1 teaspoon water 1 pound chopped pecans
1 tablespoon Paramount Crystals 1 pound chocolate candy wafers
1. Wash and dry apples, insert sucker sticks into stem end of each apple.
2. Combine Caramels and water and melt in double boiler over hot water. Place apple over caramel and spoon caramel on to apple until coated.
3. Roast pecans in oven at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Roll each apple in pecans, pressing down on apple.
4. Melt chocolate in double boiler. Add 1 tablespoon of Crystal and stir.
5. Place each apple in the bowl of chocolate and use spoon to cover entire apple. Cool and wrap. Gift wrap with color wrap and tie with a beautiful bow. Caramel Apples: 4 or 5 medium apples
1/2 teaspoon salt 1 (14-ounce) package caramel candies
4 or 5 wooden skewers
2 tablespoons water
1. Wash apples and dry thoroughly. Remove stem and blossom end of each.
2. In top of double boiler over hot water, heat caramels, salt, and water, stirring frequently, until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth.
3. Keeping sauce over hot water, place each apple in hot caramel sauce; spoon sauce over apple until it is completely coated. Insert wooden skewer in stem end; remove from sauce and place on waxed paper. Chill until caramel coating is firm.
4. Gift wrap with color wrap and tie with a beautiful bow.
