Dirt Cake Recipe 1 (20-ounce) bag Oreo cookies 1/2 stick margarine 2 (3.4-ounce) boxes instant vanilla pudding 1 cup confectioners' sugar 1 (12-ounce) container Cool Whip 3 1/2 cups milk Nuts (optional) 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese Decorations: 1 new 8 1/2 inch plastic flower pot, well washed 1 package gummy worms Artificial flowers (new and washed) Small Shovel (new and washed) 1. In food processor, grind "fine" Oreo cookies; set aside. This is "dirt." 2. Blend vanilla pudding and milk; set aside. 3. Blend cream cheese and margarine together. 4. Add sugar and then blend in pudding mixture. 5. Fold in Cool Whip. 6. Plug bottom hole of flower pot with a plastic container lid. 7. Place 1/3 of cookie crumbs in bottom of pot, cover with half the filling mix, then another third of cookie crumbs, then remaining filling and remaining crumbs. 8. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Decorate with artificial flowers and gummy worms. Yield 10 to 12 servings Watch adult faces as you serve their children a bowl of "dirt."
