" Turkey Gravy and Sauces Recipes "


These recipes are perfect condiments for any roastholiday turkey. Tangy sauces and gravy will makeyour roast turkey stunningly delicious on every bite.

Tangerine & Onion Turkey Sauce

Ingredients:


2 tbsp butter
1 cup red onions finely chopped
4 tangerine oranges
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp white wine
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp apple cider
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 cup tangerine orange juice
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp grated ginger root
1/2 tbsp flour

Cooking Method :

Peel each tangerine orange, remove fruitand break orange fruit into sections.

Melt butter in a skillet on a low heat.Stir onions and garlic until soft, addsugar, ginger root and worcestershire sauce.Stirring it frequently. Add section orangefruit and tangerine orange juice, keep stirringand gently add the flour, keep mixing untilsauce has thickened. Season with salt andstir it thoroughly.

Pour it in a sauce serving bowl and enjoy.

Simple Turkey Gravy

Ingredients :


2 cups turkey drippings (strain)
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

note: If you dont have enough turkey drippings you can use chicken stock.

Cooking Method :

Strained turkey drippings to measure 2 cups.Just add water or chicken broth if drippingis not enough.

In a regular size mixing bowl. Add smallamount of turkey drippings to a flourmixture, whisk until smooth. Pour 2 cupsof turkey dripping with the smooth flour.

In a saucepan using a low heat, pour inyour combined ingredients, Keep stirringfor about 3 to 5 minutes and bring it to boil until it thickens. When liquid starts to bubbles dash with salt and pepper. Stirthoroughly and it's ready to serve.

Another cooking method, will be mixingall the ingredients together. Just makesure flour is smooth not lumpy. Then,microwave it for about 6-8 minutes.

Cheese Cream Gravy

Ingredients:


2 tbsp flour
1 cup turkey dripping (strain) or chicken stock
1 cup heavy cream (half & half)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
season with salt and pepper

Cooking Method :

In a small mixing bowl, combine asmall amount of turkey drippingand flour, whisk until smooth.Put it aside.

Using a low heat, pour turkey dripping(strain) into a saucepan. Gradually,stir in the smooth flour mixture andthe cream. Heat just to simmer, stir inParmesan cheese and dash it with saltand pepper to your taste.

Turkey Wine Gravy

Ingredients :


3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
1 cup turkey drippings (strain) or chicken stock
1/2 cup heavy cream (half&half)
1/2 cup white wine
dash of salt and pepper

Cooking Method :

In a saucepan, heat butter and gentlyadd the flour, stir until smooth andlet it simmer for about 2 minutes.

Add all the liquid ingredients, graduallystirring. Dash some salt and pepper toyour taste. Let it simmer, until mixtureis thicken.
