Crown Princess Orange Mold Salad

Ingredients :

1 envelope orange flavored gelatin
2 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup tangerine orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 cup orange slices in can or fresh ones (peeled and cut)
1 cup finely chopped celery
1 cup chopped lettuce
1 cup scoop balls honeydew
lemon twist and mint leaves for garnishing

Cooking Method :

Combined orange flavored gelatin powder with sugar and salt. Place them in a medium size saucepan. Pour 1/2 cup cold water, stir mixture just using low heat until gelatin and sugar are dissolved. Stir in 3/4 cup water, orange juice, orange fruit, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar.

Pour your gelatin mixture into a 3 1/2 diameter molding container. Chill until mixture is partially firm. Gently toss together lettuce, celery, 1/4 cup orange slices. Arrange them as a base to your 3 1/2 gelatin mold mixture. Chill until firm. Place lemon twist at the top center of your orange mold surrounded with honeydew scoop balls forming a crown. Place 3 mint leaves at the center of the whole presentation. This recipe serves 6 guests.
