"Turkey Leftover Recipes"
Turkey Brocolli Pasta Casserole
Ingredients :
2 cups cooked pasta ( any shaped pasta)
2 cups bite sized cut roast leftover turkey
1/2 cup sliced mushroom
1 cup brocolli
1 1/2 cup cream
2 cups turkey or chicken broth
1/4 cups chopped onions
1 tablespoon minced garlic
4 tablespoon butter or vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated cheese
Cooking Method :
To cook your dried pasta of any shape.
Just pour water on saucepan, add salt
and bring it to boil. Add pasta and let
it simmer for 15 minutes, keep stirring
occasionally until pasta is tender but
firm. Drain well, rinse with cold water.
Place it on a large bowl pour a spoon
of oil or butter and stir it together. Set
aside on room temperature.
In a large skillet, sautee onions and garlic
with melted butter over a medium heat.
Add leftover roast turkey, brocolli, mushrooms,
cream, 1 1/2 cup chicken broth or stock.
Stir in for 3 to 5 minutes, until cream starts
to simmer and vegetable is lightly tender.
Pour in the cooked pasta and stir all mixture
evenly nice for about 3 minutes.
Place into a well buttered casserole and pour
in the remaining 1/2 cup stock. Covered with
foil and bake it for about 15 to 20 minutes
over a 350 degrees oven temperature. Sprinkle
the cheese on top and add some cube of butter,
bake again for an additional of 5 to 8 minutes
just to let the cheese melt. Serve it warm.
Turkey Cheese Burrito
Ingredients :
2 tablespoon vegetable oil or butter
1 medium onion thinly slice
2 cups thinly slice leftover turkey
1 1/2 cup juliene lettuce
4 tablespoon sour cream
4 medium tortilla
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 tablespoon chopped coriander
Bottle of salsa or see tomato sauce
recipes below if you want homemade one.
Cooking Method :
Melt in the butter or heat oil in the saucepan over
a moderate temperature. Sautee onions and stir in
the leftover slice turkey and add fresh coriander.
Put it aside. Fill in each burrito with a spoon of
sour cream, turkey slices, fresh lettuce, tomato
sauce or salsa and grated cheese. Then, roll the tortilla.
If you want it warm, wrap each tortilla roll with foil
and place it in the oven toaster for about 3 to 5 minutes.
Tomato Salsa
Ingredients :
2 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1/2 tbsp dry red wine, 4 large
chopped tomatoes, 1/4 cup small cube cut green peppers,
1/4 cup mincely chopped onions, 1 tbsp fresh parsley,
add some rosemary, basil and thyme, Season with salt
and pepper.
Cooking Method :
Heat oil in a skillet over a medium heat. Sautee onions until
tender, stir in the chopped tomatoes and other ingredients.
Let it simmer until slightly thickened.
